Kochi, April 2026 — TBZ – The Original, India’s oldest jewellery brand founded in 1864, today launched its latest bridal gold jewellery collection in Kochi.
The launch marks the debut of TBZ’s newest bridal gold collection, designed for a customer the brand describes as “confident, expressive, and deeply connected to tradition, with a touch of modern craftsmanship.” A limited edition of handcrafted designs created especially for the Kerala bride was unveiled at the launch. Every piece is shaped by hand at the TBZ atelier, where master karigars reinterpret the state’s own bridal heritage through silhouettes designed for the contemporary bride. The line spans statement bridal necklaces, matched bridal sets, and heirloom-led pieces intended to wear as naturally beyond the wedding day as on it.
Complementing the gold collection is a curated range of diamond jewellery, spanning bridal sets, cocktail pieces and everyday wearables — each exclusively designed for the Kochi launch. Because every piece is handcrafted and conceived as one of a kind, numbers across the line are strictly limited, and the collection is available only at the TBZ Kochi store while the edition lasts.

The Outdoor Innovation
Above the city, a 30-foot 3D replica of a gold necklace from the new collection has been installed at Kacheripady, visible along the prominent MG Road stretch in Ernakulam West. The installation will remain in place through the month and is illuminated after sundown. It is among the first uses of three-dimensional outdoor media by a national jewellery brand in Kerala.
The Golden Fleet
Flagged off from MG Road at 11:00 AM on 18 April, the four-auto cavalcade carried Nileen Sandra (@nileen_sandra), Sivakami (@sivakami_ananthanarayan), Anumol (@anumol_rs_karthu_) and Aswathi (@ponnu.ash) — together reaching a combined audience of over 3.4 million — in a synchronised arrival at the TBZ store at Jos Annexe Building, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Jos Junction, Ernakulam South, Kochi. The autos, custom-wrapped in motifs from the new gold collection, were conceived as a tribute to Kerala’s cultural texture.
