Chennai:
To raise awareness about breast cancer and emphasise the importance of early detection, Pephands Foundation will organise ‘Run for Life’, a breast cancer awareness marathon, at Phoenix Marketcity, Velachery, Chennai, on October 25, 2026.
Organised by Kishar Ahmed, Trustee and CEO of Pephands Foundation, the initiative aims to educate the public about breast cancer, its symptoms and the importance of regular medical screenings. The marathon seeks to encourage women to prioritise their health, recognise potential warning signs and seek timely medical advice.
The event is expected to witness participation from members of the public, youth and women, bringing the community together to spread awareness about breast cancer and promote women’s health and well-being. Saravanakumar Rajan, CEO of MGM, will also participate in the event.
Through this initiative, Pephands Foundation aims to encourage greater public awareness and collective action towards women’s health. The organisers have called upon the public to participate in the marathon and support the cause of breast cancer awareness.
