Chennai, August 2026: StudyIn, a global higher education specialist, today announced the launch of its flagship Student Experience Centre in Chennai, marking another significant milestone in the company’s India expansion strategy and reinforcing its long-term commitment to supporting Indian students aspiring to pursue international education.
The new centre is being launched as part of StudyIn’s continued investment in India and its strategy to build a stronger, more accessible student engagement ecosystem across key education markets. Designed as a modern, student-first environment, the Chennai centre will bring together personalised counselling, international education guidance, university application support and a range of services designed to support students throughout their overseas education journey.
The Chennai launch follows StudyIn’s flagship Student Experience Centre in New Delhi, inaugurated in May 2026, and forms part of the company’s wider plan to strengthen its physical presence across India. StudyIn is also preparing to expand its Student Experience Centre network further, including a planned flagship centre in Bengaluru later this year.
Speaking on the launch, Rob Grimshaw, CEO, StudyIn, said: “Chennai is an important market for StudyIn and for the wider international education landscape in India. The launch of this new Student Experience Centre reflects our confidence in the city and our commitment to being closer to students, families and university partners.
“We want every student interaction to be personal, informed and meaningful. These centres are designed to create an environment where students can explore their options with confidence, understand the opportunities available to them and receive trusted support throughout their journey. We are delighted to be expanding our presence in South India and look forward to beginning this new chapter for our Chennai team.”
Lakshmi Iyer, Chief Client Officer & Chairperson, StudyIn India, added: “The launch of our Chennai Student Experience Centre is another important step in our India growth journey. Chennai has a strong and diverse student community, with growing interest in international education, emerging destinations and future-focused academic and career pathways.
“Our objective is to make international education more accessible and easier to navigate for students and families. The new centre brings our student-first approach into a more immersive experience, enabling students to access personalised counselling, destination insights, university guidance, scholarship information and end-to-end support under one roof.”
Unlike conventional counselling offices, the Chennai Student Experience Centre has been conceptualised as an immersive and collaborative environment focused on student engagement. The centre will feature dedicated counselling and consultation spaces, collaborative discussion areas, student engagement zones and interactive spaces designed to encourage informed conversations around international education.
Students visiting the centre will have access to personalised counselling, destination guidance, university application support, scholarship opportunities, visa assistance, foreign language test preparation , workshops focused on emerging courses and careers, pre-departure briefings and post-admission student support services.
