Paterson Cancer Center & Cancer Alleviation Foundation Organized Kalaimaamani Dr.B Nagi Reddy Memorial Life Time Achievement Award

Chennai, 26th January 2026: Kalaimaamani Dr.B Nagi Reddy Memorial Life Time Achievement Award Celebration was conducted by Paterson Cancer Center (PCC) & Cancer Alleviation Foundation every year on January corresponding to the Thiruvallur day .Paterson Cancer Center is a cancer  center situated inside vijayahealth center premises vadapalani  with the blessings of Nagi Reddy Garu and inaugurated in 2003 by HE APJ Abdul kalam. B Nagi reddy garu is a multifaceted personality exploring in almost all the fields in cinema.He was a cine producer, owner of vijaya-vahini studios and a prolific writer. He started chandamama magazine for children for educating children through moral stories so that the children grow up well disciplined and value human relationships highly. He also started Vijaya education trust and ran Vijaya group of hospitals and served the humanity. Paterson Cancer Center took cue from his life and started identifying great personalities in the cine field and medical fraternity and children education and honoring them every year on January. 

The chosen people of this year for this award are Shri Kathadi S Ramamurthy ((Actor, Director, Writer, Dubbing Artist), Shri. Dr.V.Sukumar MS., (Orthopedician), Shri. SBS. Raman (Theatre Director), Smt. Dr. Sudha Seshayyan (Literature, Spirituality), Shri. S D Vijay Milton (Cinematographer, Film Director). Theywere welcomed with the Shawl and honored with a scrollmentioning their achievements and their excellentservices in their chosen field, a momento and a cash award. All the awardees in the acceptance speech remembered Dr.B Nagi reddys contribution to the society and their interaction with the great doyen of  film and health industry.

The awardees were felicitated by Dr.S.Vijayaraghavan, MD., Managing Director of Paterson Cancer Center on the voluminous and selfless service to the cancer patients where no patient is denied treatment for want of money. Dr. Aadarsh Raghavan MS., MCh Endocrine and Breast Surgeon conducted this ceremony. Dr.Usha Vijayaraghavan, Director of Paterson Cancer Center delivered the vote of thanks.
