Mumbai, 2025: Green Practices, a pioneering waste management company based out of Mumbai, was conferred with the prestigious award at the Climate Action & Sustainability Conference & Awards (CASCA) 2025 in the category ‘Waste Management and Circular Economy’, in recognition of their innovative, decentralized approach to urban waste systems. The award was presented during the high-level ceremony held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC), Janpath, New Delhi.
Presented by M3M Foundation and organised by TheCSRUniverse, CASCA 2025 is a leading platform bringing together global leaders, experts, and changemakers to drive climate action under the theme “Driving Sustainable Transformation for a Resilient and Inclusive Future.”
Green Practices was celebrated for its impact-driven waste management model adopted by bulk generators, housing societies, and corporates across Mumbai, helping reduce landfill loads while strengthening community-led systems.
“Sustainability often takes shape in the background, in systems, habits, and quiet shifts,” said Mana Shah, founder of Green Practices. “Being recognised at CASCA 2025 is a reminder that this kind of work matters, and that long-term thinking does find its place in the larger conversation.”
The CASCA Awards honour organisations making measurable contributions to climate and sustainability goals. For Green Practices, the recognition marks a key milestone in its mission to reimagine everyday waste as part of a larger environmental solution.
